PACER’s & CustomInk Be Good To Each Other – Brooke Mangum

Raise Support for Bullying Prevention

As part of CustomInk’s 3rd annual Be Good To Each Other campaign, celebrities have come together to show their support!  Please consider participating by purchasing one of these shirts designed by actor and model Brooke Mangum.
CustomInk will print and fulfill the shirts at cost and will donate 100% of our profits (at least $10 per shirt) to PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center. PACER unites, engages, and educates communities nationwide on bullying.
Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the campaign end date of October 31, 2013.

Thanks to our supporters!

About our designer: Brooke Mangum

While growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah Brooke Mangum looked and acted much different than the confident model and television personality you see today. She was chunky, awkward and had a mullet. She says, she was never picked first, and didn’t sit by the popular pretty girls. Needless to say she didn’t have the greatest self-esteem growing up, those types of feelings; not feeling good enough, being an outsider, ugly, different … etc. Never go away no matter how old you are.
Then one summer everything about her appearance changed. She grew a few inches, her body thinned out and the mullet was a thing of the past. With this new sense of self and confidence she went to High School, only to learn that girls are even meaner when they see you as threat. Not a day went by that she wouldn’t hear whispers about her in the hall. Hurtful rumors were everywhere, she hated going to school.
Bullying stops when we decide not to tolerate it any more. If you see someone being bullied say something! Be the hero, you can make a difference.
To all the Bullies out there, you need to quit it and get it together. Your words and actions hurt, and you can never take them back.
To all of you that have been or are being bullied now, you are so much stronger than you think. Hang in there, be brave, and remember these hard times are only temporary. There is nothing better to be than YOU, and don’t let anyone make you feel otherwise.
Brooke is now a successful model, broadcaster and TV personality. She has traveled all over the world modeling for several notable brands and has walked the runway in Paris Fashion Week. She has been featured on the Today Show, WWE Monday Night RAW, and EXTRA TV. Brooke is currently appearing on USA’s reality competition series SUMMER CAMP representing anyone who has every felt like an ugly ducklings.
About the Be Good to Each Other campaign
At CustomInk, we believe in the Golden Rule and treating others with kindness and respect.  Statistics show that between 20-30% of school-aged kids in the United States have been bullied.  That is why we’ve created the Be Good To Each Other campaign to help increase awareness and ultimately prevent bullying by uniting groups with custom t-shirts.
This is the third year of the CustomInk Be Good To Each Other campaign.  With the help of our celebrity partners, the media and you, CustomInk has raised more than $20,000 for bullying prevention efforts.  And the power of t-shirts goes beyond just the funds raised – thousands of people continue to wear the shirts they’ve purchased and spread the word that bullying is not okay!
